What's NEW SUMMER 2010
Celebrate the Irish July/August Issue of Bread'n'Molases Available at the Museum
The Magazine Bread’n’Molasses printed and published in the Miramichi featuring local artists, authors and poets as well as photos of New Brunswick is now available for sale at the Bathurst Heritage Museum at 360 Douglas Ave. in Bathurst, NB. The March / April and the May / June issues are in stock now. Come in or call 506-546-9449. Watch for the July/August issue which will celebrate the Irish.
June - September Museum at the Market
The Bathurst Heritage Museum will have its annual kiosk at the Bathurst City Market every Saturday morning from June 24th to September 17th, 2010. Gift cards, hasti-notes with local scenes, historic books and heritage pins may be purchased. Wonderful albums to see and discuss.
August 1 to September 7 Paintings by Cynthia Decoste
Opening Reception August 3 6-8 pm
The extraordinary artistic works of Cynthia DeCoste will again be on exhibit and for sale from August 1st to September 3rd, 2010 in Gallery 360 at the Bathurst Heritage Museum, 360 Douglas Avenue.
During this time the Gallery will be open seven days a week and by appointment, 506-546-9449.
Cynthia was chosen Emerging Artist of the Year for 2009.

Coming September 15, 2010 The Lamp and the Union: Nursing in Twentieth Century New Brunswick
Coming to the Bathurst Heritage Museum on September 15th “The Lamp and the Union: Nursing in Twentieth Century New Brunswick”. The exhibition presents a sampling of the Artefacts from the New Brunswick Nursing History Collection. Artefacts include caps, pins, student blazers, union pins, photos and histories. There will be an official opening of the exhibit on Sunday the 19th of September, 2010.
