General Information

The Généalogie Nepisiguit Genealogy is a bilingual group of interested members who have thousands of names and facts stored in a database in the archives. The members are ready to work with individuals in search of their ancestors with roots in Gloucester County, New Brunswick, Canada.

If the information is not found in the archives, everything possible will be done to assist you in your search, and to let you know where else you may search.

The Bernard (Sonny) Veniot Archives

In “The Bernard (Sonny) Veniot Archives” there are records of marriages, births, deaths, old land grants and maps, town plot maps, newspapers and microfilms.

There are records of all Churches and all denominations as well as the Census books for the Counties of Gloucester, Northumberland and Restigouche.

Regular meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00pm in the Archives.

Location

We are situated in the lower level of the Nepisiguit Centennial Cultural Center (Bathurst Heritage Museum) at 360 Douglas Ave. in Bathurst N.B. (side entrance facing Coronation Park)

The Bernard (Sonny) Veniot Archives

Dans la sale “The Bernard (Sonny) Veniot Archives” nous avons des actes de marriage, baptême, sépulture, des anciennes cartes des concessions de terres, des plans de terrains de la ville, de vieux journaux et des microfilms.

Nous avons des actes de toutes les églises et de toute dénomination, nous avons aussi les livres de recensement pour les comtés de Gloucester, Northumberland et Restigouche.

Location

Les réunions régulières sont les 3ième mardi du mois. Nous sommes situés en bas du Musée du Patrimoine de Bathurst, 360 rue Douglas Bathurst, N.B., l'entrée est sur le côté du bâtiment faisant face au parc Coronation.
